Welcome to Food Pantry LAX

Our goal at Food Pantry LAX is to assist people with their food needs by providing enough free groceries to last two days or more. We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers that has been operating continuously since 1985.

How To Obtain Food

We distribute food Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9:30 to noon at our facility located at:

355 East Beach Avenue
Inglewood, CA 90302

Customers can come twice a week. There are no income requirements. During the pandemic, which is continuing, no ID is required. Larger families can receive more food.

For clients who have stoves or other cooking appliances, we provide items like rice, spaghetti, eggs and canned goods such as vegetables, ravioli and chili. The menu changes week to week. Those without cooking appliances can receive food that does not require cooking or refrigeration, such as tuna, beef sticks, Vienna sausages, protein and granola bars, peanut butter, crackers. In addition, all customers receive bread and fresh fruit and vegetables.

The pantry also offers baby food and formula, diapers, toiletries and feminine hygiene products to customers who request them.
